About: Investors are going to want to know why your company is different and special. Developing a succinct positioning statement, also called a value prop, is critical to clearly communicating this not only to investors but also to prospective customers. A strong positioning statement will help you clearly articulate how your company will stand out versus your competitors and why you’ll be able to drive strong growth in your category. Join NVC coach, Susan Silver (CEO and founder of Argentum Strategy), for this workshop which will focus on the five key things everyone should know when they talk about their business; it will give you and your team the tools you need to do to develop a compelling positioning statement.

KEY TAKEAWAYS:

  • The 5 key things you need to know to talk about your company
  • Simple guidelines to help refine and tighten existing positioning statements
  • How to align your marketing and sales messaging to make sure those efforts work together more efficiently (relevant for NVC at this point?)
  • How to succinctly explain what your business does in one sentence
  • Tools to help identify how your company is differentiated in a way that is relevant to potential investors
