About: Join student and faculty teams of the Social New Venture Challenge competition for the finalist presentations (11a.m. - 3:30 p.m.) as they compete for $50,000 of venture funding. Presenting teams are addressing a range of urgent social sector challenges and will spend the spring quarter building and improving an organization to achieve social impact at scale. Immediately following the presentations (3:30 -5:00 p.m.), join us for the Taste the Impact reception featuring catering from food-focused, mission-driven organizations based in Chicago. The Taste the Impact reception will culminate in the announcement of the 2017 SNVC winners—so stick around to congratulate these up-and–coming social entrepreneurs!
