Join us for the finals of the 20th annual Edward L. Kaplan, ’71, New Venture Challenge (NVC). Throughout the day, the NVC finalists will present to a panel of judges comprising of top investors, entrepreneurs, and others. Prizes – which include cash prizes and in-kind services, such as legal and professional consulting services, and office space – have helped past NVC winners like GrubHub, Braintree, and Base CRM grow into successful businesses. The NVC is a top-ranked U.S. accelerator program and this year marks the 20th anniversary of the program.

UChicago Innovation Fest, a three-week celebration of the University of Chicago’s entrepreneurial and innovative advances and solutions, kicks off May 12 and runs through June 2, with more than 35 sessions scheduled across the city and UChicago’s downtown and Hyde Park campuses.
